about

A combination of several made-up drinking songs. After spending a summer working on a sailboat with seven other guys, we all acknowledged that the level of affection we had for each other was borderline homosexual in nature, especially when we were drunk, thus the "saltwater queers" line. The chorus was written on the back of a pizza wrapper in collaboration with John Cranford the previous winter, and the other verses were taken from songs that never came to be.
